Prove you're someone
without proving who.
Blind-ID is a sign-in button backed by the government ID in a person's phone wallet. A site that adds it gets a real person behind every account. It never sees the ID, and neither do we: no name, no date of birth, no address, no document number, no photo, and no record of the person anywhere.

How it works
-
1
A site offers the Blind-ID button. Beside its other sign-in options, or on its own where a verified adult is the point.
-
2
The person presents their ID. Their wallet shows them which site is asking and exactly what it will get; they approve with their phone's unlock.
-
3
We check it, then forget it. We confirm it is a real government-issued ID and turn it into a one-way code that means something to that one site and nothing anywhere else. The ID itself is never written down.
-
4
The site signs them in. Same code every time they come back, so the site knows it is them. A different site gets a different code, so no two sites can compare notes, and neither can we.
What we never store
- Name
- Date of birth
- Address
- Document number
- Photo
There is no account here to keep any of it in. What a site receives is a one-way code made from the ID and that site, computed fresh each time and kept by nobody but the site. A site that checks age receives one more thing: the ID's own yes-or-no answer to "over 18", which the wallet shows the person before they share it.
Sign-in, age checks, account recovery
Passwordless sign-in with the phone's unlock as the second factor. Over-18 checks without a face scan or a date of birth. A way back into an account that cannot be social-engineered.
Seen the button somewhere?
You need a passport, driver's license or state ID in your phone's wallet, and nothing else: no account here, nothing to remember. Your wallet shows you what is shared before anything is.
